Data erasure with proof – for every device we buy
When you sell us used laptops, PCs, servers or phones, we erase all storage media before any device is refurbished and reused. Every erasure is documented.
1. Erasure with certified software from Certus
To erase hard drives and SSDs, we use certified erasure software from Certus. All storage media of a device are erased before it goes into refurbishment.
2. Erasure certificate for every device
For every device, we issue an erasure certificate with its serial number. This gives you written proof that the storage media have been erased – for example for your company records.
3. Physical destruction of defective storage media
If a storage medium can no longer be erased, for example because it is defective, it is physically destroyed. The destruction is logged as well.
